Tax filing
Returns prepared, and filed.
We prepare and file federal and state income-tax returns for small businesses and their owners — built directly on the books we already keep, so nothing has to be reconstructed at the deadline. Payroll, 1099s and sales tax are handled on the same calendar.

Why it is easier here
The return comes out of the books, not out of a shoebox.
Most of what makes a return expensive is reconstruction — chasing statements, guessing at categories, reconciling the year in March. When the same team closed your books every month, the return is largely already written.
- No year-end scramble — the trial balance is already reconciled
- Fewer hours spent, so a lower bill at the same $35.00 rate
- One team answering for both the books and the return
- Extensions filed on time when a return genuinely needs longer
What’s included
Filing, payroll and the whole compliance calendar.
Business income-tax returns
Federal and state returns for sole proprietors (Schedule C), partnerships and multi-member LLCs (1065), S corporations (1120-S) and C corporations (1120), with the matching K-1s.
Owner returns
The personal return that carries your business income — Form 1040 with the relevant schedules — prepared alongside the entity return so the two agree.
Payroll runs
Scheduled payroll through Gusto, or coordinated with your existing provider: wages, PTO, deductions and direct deposit — posted straight to the books.
Contractor payments & 1099s
W-9 collection, contractor payment runs, and 1099-NEC preparation and e-filing each January.
Payroll-tax deposits & returns
Federal and state payroll-tax deposits and quarterly filings, monitored and reconciled against the books every month.
Sales & use tax
Nexus tracking, return preparation and on-time filing across the states where you have obligations — with a sales-tax specialist brought in where the position is genuinely complex.
A compliance calendar
A shared calendar of every filing and deadline that touches your business — income tax, payroll tax, 1099s, sales tax, entity renewals — with reminders before, not after. You can see it at any time; nothing depends on remembering an email.
What we are, and what we are not
Plain about our credentials.
We think you should know exactly what you are hiring before you hire it.
What we do
- Prepare and file federal and state income-tax returns for small businesses and their owners
- Sign returns as a paid preparer under an IRS Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN)
- Operate as a California Registered Tax Preparer, registered with the California Tax Education Council (CTEC) and bonded as California law requires
- Handle payroll, 1099s, payroll-tax filings and sales-tax returns
What we are not
- Not a CPA firm, and not Enrolled Agents or attorneys
- We do not perform audits, reviews, compilations or any other attest engagement
- We do not represent clients before the IRS or the California Franchise Tax Board. CTEC registration does not carry representation rights — that requires an Enrolled Agent, CPA or attorney. If an examination or notice arises, we prepare the underlying records and work alongside a representative you appoint
- We do not give legal advice, and nothing here is a legal opinion
Full detail is in our Disclaimer. You can verify any California Registered Tax Preparer on the CTEC public register.
